Dearest Fannie is a business built by two sisters Ellie & Jess Duff in 2018. A business built on the question: Why can’t sustainability be fashion?

Fast fashion is an environmental problem that Dearest Fannie are working to tackle. Wet wipes and makeup removers may be convenient but they wreak absolute havoc on the environment.  This is because wet wipes and makeup removers aren’t biodegradable or recyclable.  As part of the UK’s 25 year environmental plan, the government has pledged to eliminate all avoidable plastic waste, including single use products. Dearest Fannie want to provide you with a solution by creating reusable alternatives in a colourful and fun way. Sustainability doesn’t have to be boring; it can be incorporated into our daily lives without having to make any sacrifices, it often saves you money too! They are a modern business with strong ethics at their core.

The factories that they work with to create the products all go through checks to ensure working conditions are of a high standard and employees are treated and payed fairly. They work with the factories to ensure that throughout the process of manufacture and shipping, it is as sustainable with as little waste as possible whilst all processes are in line with their ethics.

Ditsy Cloth - Certified vegan by Peta £12.50

All of the factories that they work with also have to sign a document confirming they only create vegan and cruelty free products. They will never use a factory that works with fur or actively tests on animals. When necessary they will pay for accreditations with recognised organisations to certify that products are vegan. Their Ditsy Cloth is certified vegan by Peta. In addition all dyes, from packaging to products are vegan.

So what they are offering are sustainable alternatives that can be reused over and over again. We have fallen head over heels for the Ditsy Cloth and we hope you do too! It is hypoallergenic, reusable and recyclable. Just add water and your makeup will simply wipe away. Shop the range here!
