Here We Flo believe that what we put in our bodies should be as natural as possible & not horrible for the planet.
It was the Winter of 2013 and besties Tara & Susan were having a classic bathroom chat in between classes at university.
Susan was daydreaming about starting a business together - Tara wondered why she couldn’t find organic tampons anywhere. Loads of research, a masters dissertation and heaps of terrible period-pun business names later, FLO was born!
Their mission remained simple until 2017, when they were able to actually launch the business: make products that inspire people to feel crazy confident and empowered about their messiest bodily moments.
They only use planet-friendly materials in their period care, bladder care, sexual wellness products - so that your messiest moments don’t make a mess of our planet.
Certified organic cotton means no toxic substances on your bits & higher labour standards. It’s also ridiculously soft. Naturally!
The period pants are made with BCI cotton (Better Cotton Initiative) which is great for your body + the environment.
They use biodegradable + compostable plant cellulose for the pad, liner and tampon wrappers, and sugarcane biopolymer for the applicators (95% plant-based) - NO plastic!
Our bamboo is organic & edge-grown meaning it doesn’t replace food crops & certified by Oeko-Tex (it's tested for nasty chemical residues).
+ All of their outer packaging is made of FCS-certified recyclable cardboard and they're vegan & cruelty-FREE!
5% of our profits go to girls and women in need, via charities who are fighting period poverty and FGM.
