PROJECTS – SUPPORTING CAUSES THAT CREATE HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
Investing in our communities by supporting causes or creating projects that enable the world to go beyond survival and thrive.
At Beyond Bamboo we take our commitment to restoring the planet seriously – going beyond sustainability to restore and rejuvenate the global eco-system.

EARTHWATCH TINY FOREST

EARTHWATCH PROJECTS

Through our community, network and people we are supporting and collaborating with Earthwatch on two projects that bring nature and communities together to help our planet thrive.

Naturehood: Whether you’re in an urban jungle or country idyll, Naturehood is right up your street! We empower you to take positive action and connect with your community – we can make the biggest difference to wildlife when we work together.

Tiny Forest: Environmental issues such as flooding, heat stress and loss of biodiversity are increasingly affecting urban areas. Creating thriving and climate-resilient urban areas that support economic growth, whilst also enhancing livelihoods and wellbeing, is a considerable challenge. A Tiny Forest can play a part in facing this challenge. They bring the benefits of a forest – reconnecting people with nature and raising awareness, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change, as well as providing nature-rich habitat patches to support urban wildlife – right into the heart of our cities and urban spaces.

Help us to build a Tiny Forest and connect communities through Naturehood.

GLOBAL YOUTH AWARDS

Beyond Bamboo are proud to sponsor The Global Youth Awards environmental category which celebrates young people from all over the world aged 11-25 that are working on projects to raise awareness, restore or rejuvenate the planet.

The Global Youth Awards are run by young people for young people and winners are given a minimum of 12 months to become a Global Youth Ambassador which supports them with their projects and offers them mentorship, access to opportunities such as events and programmes and enables them to work on the next Global Youth Awards. You can nominate a young person for the 2021 awards here or see them in action here.
